Wassail and Mari Lwyd

The Chepstow Mari Lwyd combines the traditions of the Mari Lwyd, wassailing and the meeting of the English and Welsh on the old Wye bridge.

Snow came down on the 2013 wassail scairing many back to the safety of there homes but we pushed on regardless and it was still a fantastic event. The snow adding a great atmosphere.
